To truly be a 5-star hotel, the hotel must satisfy these criteria - service, amenities, and comfort. Being short of it will limit the guests' stay experience.
There is one thing that absolutely no hotels can go without and that is great customer service. In our poll, we have found that the top criteria in satisfactory for hotel stay experience is customer service. The hotel industry is all about customer service, they are there to service you in anyway possible, after all, it is the guests' home away from home.
A 5-star hotel must consistently deliver flawless excellence in the areas of:
- Friendly & professional communication
- Daily housekeeping
- Multilingual staff
- 24-hour reception, valet parking, doorman, and room service
- Child care
- Food service
Every hotel guest is different which is why it is critical that hotels have various amenities to accommodate the guests' needs and wants when it comes to their ideal hotel experience. These are the followings that we look for:
- 24-hour health club
- Outdoor swimming pool (5th floor)
- 24-hour in-room dining
- Self-Serve Laundry Room
- Business Center
- Complimentary shuttle within a 3 mile radius, based on availability. ADA vehicle is available upon request.
- High-speed internet access
- 50,000 square feet of meeting and event space
Hotels are only worth coming back to at the end of the night if they are comfortable and treats guests to the highest excellence. Every 5-star at minimum has the following:
- Plush guest rooms
- Pillow Menu
- Blackout Shades
- Luxury toiletries
- Plush Beds, robes, towels
- Poolside daybeds and umbrellas
